American companies are not only committed to staying in China but also quietly expanding, U.S.-China Business Council President Sean Stein told CGTN's Tian Wei at the eighth China International Import Expo (CIIE). He said that despite global supply chain diversification, U.S. businesses have expanded operations in China through joint research, integrated supply chains and strong partnerships with local governments. China remains essential to U.S. companies' global strategies – and the data backs it up, Stein added.
