Super Typhoon Fung-wong made landfall in the northern Philippines on Sunday.
At least two fatalities have been reported, with 1 million people evacuated ahead of one of the nation's most powerful storms this year. Power was cut in large areas of the Bicol region ahead of the typhoon's arrival. With 185 kilometers-per-hour winds and gusts up to 230 kph, Fung-wong has crossed Luzon's northern and central regions and is expected to exit the island on Monday.
