China, Brazil, and Chile celebrate living heritage

A “Cloud Open Day” event featuring traditional arts from China, Brazil, and Chile was held in Beijing on November 7th. Artists from the three countries connected via live video to jointly present a cross-border cultural showcase. During the event, Han opera performers from Guangdong, Hubei, and Fujian in China joined folk musicians and dancers from Brazil and Chile in an online cultural exchange. Organized annually by the State Grid Corporation of China since 2021, this year marks the fifth edition of “Cloud Open Day.” The initiative has become a dynamic platform for cultural exchange—strengthening people-to-people ties and fostering mutual understanding among China, Brazil, and Chile.
