China's Beibu Gulf Port just hit a new milestone.
Qinzhou Port, the core hub of the port cluster, welcomed its largest-ever container ship – a 200,000-tonne-class giant stretching 399.8 meters. The vessel began loading and unloading right after docking at the fully automated terminal. From January to September, its foreign-trade throughput hit 874,000 TEUs, up 28.4 percent year on year.
