At least six people have been killed, and over 2.35 million residents have been affected after Typhoon Fung-wong hit the Philippines, causing extensive damage as of 6:00 a.m. on November 11.
The storm led to flooding in 379 areas, damaged more than 4,000 homes, and caused power outages in 426 municipalities nationwide. Authorities report that 1,035 municipalities closed schools, and 823 suspended work in response to the typhoon.
