China voiced strong disapproval and firm opposition to Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's recent remarks suggesting potential military action in the Taiwan Strait. On Wednesday, the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council further commented, urging Japan to thoroughly reflect on its past actions concerning China and China's Taiwan region, and to approach the Taiwan issue with great caution.
