Songshan Mountain, a location known for the convergence of Buddhism, Confucianism, and Taoism in Dengfeng City, Henan Province, is home to the ancient Fawang Temple. The temple recently accommodated two dedicated international students: Akul Malik from India and Alexandra Arieu from France.
Traveling from different countries, they are pursuing training in traditional Chinese martial arts (Wushu) guided by temple disciple Master Miaodu. Their participation highlights the continued global interest in Wushu as a significant aspect of Chinese heritage.
The 15th National Games are currently taking place, featuring athletes competing at the highest level for medals. Simultaneously, the centuries-old tradition of Wushu continues to attract and train international practitioners at sites like Fawang Temple.
