During King Felipe VI's state visit to China from November 10 to 13, Queen Letizia visited Chengdu's Wangjiang Pavilion Park on November 11 for a special cultural exchange. The event celebrated the 150th birthday of Spanish poet Antonio Machado and fostered dialogue about Chinese and Spanish poetry. Scholars recited works by Tang poet Xue Tao and Machado in both languages, followed by a traditional Kung Fu Tea performance.
