'Mice astronauts' return to Earth with Shenzhou-20 crew

Joining the Shenzhou-20 crew on their journey home on Friday were "mice astronauts," which had been transported to the space station on October 31. They lived aboard the space station for almost two weeks, nearly twice the originally planned duration.

After landing, scientific researchers conducted on-site studies of the mice, including observing their behavior and examining key physiological and biochemical indicators.

The experiment provides a solid foundation for further large-scale mammalian research in orbit.

In addition to the life-science experiment samples, the return capsule also carried various materials as well as combustion experiment samples.
