Last month, the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China concluded with the adoption of the Recommendations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China for Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development, which sets China's strategic direction for 2026 to 2030, a critical period bridging past achievements and future modernization goals.
Rafael Martín Rodríguez, a scholar from Spain specializing in Asia-Pacific international relations, said the document outlines a well-structured framework for China's future development and sets out praiseworthy goals, as well as steps to reach them, such as tax incentives. He also said that China's plans to stimulate its domestic market will benefit foreign enterprises operating in the country.
