The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, a landmark project of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, played multiple key roles in the 15th National Games. The men's individual road cycling race was held on the bridge, with a 231.8-kilometer route connecting the three regions and allowing athletes to enjoy a fast customs clearance experience without "hitting the brakes." During the event, the three regions achieved breakthroughs in vehicle and personnel qualifications as well as customs clearance procedures, introducing cross-border license plate medical support vehicles and "three-region joint" command vehicles that highlight the "soft connectivity" of regional cooperation.

The radio frequency identification (RFID) systems at the Guangdong-Hong Kong and Guangdong-Macao boundaries, along with the operation and maintenance achievements of the Guangdong-Hong Kong Joint Laboratory of Marine Infrastructure, fully demonstrated the bridge's technological strength. Opened in 2018 as an important symbol of Greater Bay Area integration, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge further promoted exchanges among the three regions in sports, culture, economy and other fields through this edition of the National Games, intuitively presenting the trend and achievements of the Greater Bay Area's integrated development.
