The 2025 Global Mayors Dialogue is scheduled to take place in Nanjing, east China's Jiangsu Province, from November 19 to 21, with cultural ties emerging as a vital bridge for inter-city cooperation.

As one of the top international platforms for cultural exchange among cities, the World Cities Culture Forum (WCCF) has included Nanjing as a formal member since 2019. Recently, Justine Simons, founder of the WCCF and London's Deputy Mayor for Culture and the Creative Industries, recorded a special video message for the upcoming event, praising Nanjing.

In the video, Justine emphasized the important role of cooperation among cities worldwide, praised Nanjing for its active involvement in international cultural exchanges, and congratulated Nanjing on organizing the event.

"It is really important that cities come together to collaborate and we wish you every success for a great event," she noted.
