Sonam Wangdrak's childhood dream was to become a train driver. Through relentless determination, the shepherd boy from the grasslands of Lhorong County in Qamdo became the first driver on the Lhasa-Nyingchi route – Xizang Autonomous Region's first and the world's highest electrified railway.
