Ye Yireng, born in Pingtung, Taiwan, is now the principal flautist with the NCPA orchestra. “I’ve lived in Beijing for over a decade. It’s such a diverse and inclusive city. Looking back, my time here has been a major part of my life’s journey. The opportunities are endless. I’m doing things I love. And I have the space to become the person I want to be,” said Ye Yireng.
