Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's latest outburst on Taiwan is nothing more than brazen meddling in China's internal affairs - trampling the One-China principle, dismissing the spirit of the four political documents, and ignoring even the most basic norms of international conduct. And if Takaichi thinks flirting with the ghosts of Japan's militarist past is "smart diplomacy," she should be ready to take full responsibility when China-Japan relations inevitably sour.
