China's Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park, established in 2021, may be the second-smallest of the country's national parks, but it contains some of the highest levels of biodiversity.
The park is home to 33% of China's reptile species, 38% of its birds, 20% of its mammals, and more than 3,500 plant species.
