A massive fire in Oita City, southern Japan, has been burning for six days and is still not fully extinguished. The blaze, which broke out on November 18, has ravaged more than 170 buildings, killed one person and forced 175 residents to evacuate as it spread from dense residential areas into nearby forested slopes and an uninhabited island offshore.
