Vibrant China: Xinjiang youths shape the region's new era

Xinjiang is a vibrant region where multiple ethnic groups live in harmony. Young people of all ethnicities wield their passion as a pen to write stories of their hometown in the new era. CGTN's Merna Al Nasser travels to Urumqi to explore the extraordinary lives of three young people from Xinjiang.

Hao Hao, an ethnic Han, runs her own farm in Urumqi. For her, horse riding embodies a yearning for adventure, and this land fills her with genuine excitement for life. Ayjol Adel, a Kazak ethnic designer, integrates ethnic characteristics into his wedding dress designs. Through the fusion of traditional patterns and the Western aesthetics, he weaves the charm of Xinjiang's culture into every stitch and thread. Abduweli Abderxit from Altay, driven by deep affection for his hometown, has interviewed dozens of youths from Xinjiang, documenting their spirit and mettle.
