Nearly 200 villagers in Guizhou Province, southwest China, helped relocate a two-story wooden house weighing about 10 tonnes by lifting it together and moving it 30 meters. The owner said he planned to build a new home on the original site, and the traditional wooden structure allowed the house to be moved intact using ropes, joint beams and teamwork.
