A fire broke out at a corrugated cardboard manufacturing factory in Anseong City, Gyeonggi province, South Korea, leaving one person dead, YTN news reported on Sunday.

Local fire authorities, judging that the flames were intense and could spread to surrounding areas, issued a Level 1 response and deployed approximately 30 pieces of equipment and 110 personnel to extinguish the fire.

Police believed that the deceased worker sought a meal in the cafeteria break room with two other employees, but was unable to escape.
