"They pissed on us, and there were beatings, kicks, punches, insults and curses," Palestinian photojournalist Shadi Abu Sido recalled, describing the moment he was arrested by the Israeli military at Gaza's Al-Shifa Hospital in March last year and his subsequent 20-month imprisonment at Sde Teiman detention camp.
"Sde Teiman is beyond what the human mind can comprehend," he said, "It is hard for any person to imagine how a human being can do such things to another human being."
