Conditions are not yet ready for holding the tenth trilateral summit meeting among China, Japan and the Republic of Korea (ROK), said Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning during a press briefing in Beijing on Monday.

She made the statement in response to a query about reports that China had rejected Japan's proposal to hold a trilateral meeting with the ROK and Japan in January.
