Located on the middle reaches of the Changhua River in Dongfang City, Hainan Province, Daguangba Reservoir is the second largest reservoir in Hainan and the province's largest water conservancy and hydroelectric project. It serves multiple functions, including power generation, irrigation, and water supply.

The imposing Daguangba Hydropower Station features a dam stretching nearly 6 kilometers, making it the largest earthen dam in Asia. Known as the "natural park" in Dongfang, it has attracted a large number of global tourists and offers excellent potential for comprehensive tourism development.
