Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi has repeatedly visited the Yasukuni Shrine, invoking the specter of Japanese militarism. In an interview with CGTN, Victor Gao, vice president of the Center for China and Globalization, emphasized that China will never allow Japan to once again endanger peace and stability globally, nor permit it to develop weapons of mass destruction. He stressed that China will firmly safeguard its own peace and security – as well as that of all peace-loving countries.
