Expert: Japan's remilitarization must be stopped before it upends Instrument of Surrender

Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's erroneous remarks on the Taiwan region raise the risk of remilitarization and the re-emergence of militarism in Japan. 

In a recent interview with CGTN, Victor Gao, vice president of the Center for China and Globalization, stressed that the Japanese Instrument of Surrender, signed in 1945, will never expire, and any attempt to violate its terms must be stopped in its tracks.
