Hong Kong blaze kills at least 14 as government elevates emergency response

At least 14 people have been killed and several others injured in a fire in Hong Kong's Tai Po area, according to exclusive information provided to CMG by the Fire Services Department of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government. Chief Executive John Lee said he is deeply concerned about the incident, adding that the government has activated the emergency monitoring and support center and instructed all departments to spare no effort in firefighting, rescue and medical response.
