Thailand's Royal Thai Army used helicopters to evacuate critically ill patients from a hospital in Hat Yai on November 26, as flooding across southern Thailand pushed the reported death toll to 41, and more rain was forecast. The military said one evacuated patient – an elderly woman with heart failure – required continuous medical support during the transfer and was handed over safely to specialist doctors. Flooding has affected nine Thai provinces and parts of neighboring Malaysia, with nearly 45,000 people evacuated across both countries.
