Ezzat Saad, Director of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Affairs, sternly criticized the inaacurate remarks made by the Japanese side, saying that Sanae Takaichi's comments clearly deviate from the fundamental principles of China-Japan relations.

Saad stressed that Taiwan is an inalienable part of China and that the Taiwan question is China's internal affair - a universal consensus and basic understanding within the international community.
