The status of Taiwan as an inseparable part of China's territory is "carved in stone," said Victor Gao, Vice President of Center for China and Globalization, in an interview with CGTN. He said Japan's threats to overturn its terms of unconditional surrender in 1945 will undoubtedly trigger a destructive reconfiguration of the regional landscape – the moment Japan decides to betray its promise of peace, its fate will head towards annihilation.
