China is issuing a stern warning over Japan's escalating provocations on the Taiwan question. Japanese officials have suggested sinking China's aircraft carrier Fujian if PLA operations occur. The Chinese Defense Ministry said that Japan is seriously challenging the post–World War II order and destabilizing the region.
