We Talk: ROK residents condemn Sanae Takaichi's remarks on Taiwan

During a parliamentary session earlier this month, Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi openly stated that the Chinese mainland's "use of force on Taiwan" could create a "survival-threatening situation" for Japan, implying potential military intervention in China's Taiwan region. In response to her provocative remarks, CGTN Stringer spoke with residents in the Republic of Korea (ROK). Professor Kim Byung-han noted that when such statements are made by a top leader, the consequences may ultimately fall on the people and neighboring countries.
