Heaviest rain in 300 years leaves southern Thailand under water

Several provinces in southern Thailand are facing severe flooding caused by heavy rainfall. According to officials, the city of Hat Yai in Songkhla province received 335 mm of rain on Friday – its highest single-day total in three centuries. They said that as of Wednesday morning, the floods had killed 18 people, including 5 in Songkhla Province. CGTN correspondent Dusita Saokaew sent this report from Hat Yai Airport.
