China's first 1,500-degree Celsius single-shaft heavy-duty gas turbine has begun full-capacity operation in Jiangjin District, southwest China's Chongqing Municipality. The project, using domestically developed F-class improved technology with over 90 percent local equipment, features two 546.8 MW units with a total installed capacity of 1,093.6 MW. Achieving 61.74 percent combined cycle efficiency, the turbine represents a breakthrough in China's high-end power equipment manufacturing and meets strict national emission standards.
