Two Russian tankers hit by explosions in Black Sea

Two tankers from Russia's shadow fleet, Kairos and Virat, were hit by explosions and caught fire in the Black Sea near Türkiye on November 28, according to Turkish Directorate General for Maritime Affairs. The Kairos tanker, en route from Egypt to Russia, exploded 52 kilometers off the coast of Türkiye. Emergency teams rescued all 25 crew members safely. The Virat tanker was also struck, but despite heavy smoke, all 20 crew members were unharmed.
