Han Xu made an impressive debut in the WNBL (Women's National Basketball League) on Saturday, helping the Perth Lynx claim a 91-67 victory over the Canberra Capitals on the road, as the Chinese center scored a joint game-high 22 points.

The 26-year-old, who arrived in Perth last Sunday, opened her account in the Land Down Under by drilling a jumper that increased her new side's early lead to 4-0.

Han went 6-for-6 from the floor in the first half, with China's two-time Olympian sparking the Lynx to a 43-36 advantage at the break.

The FIBA World Cup silver medalist continued her strong play after the intermission, dominating in the paint as the visitors extended their edge to double digits.

Han, a two-time WCBA (Women's Chinese Basketball Association) champion and former WNBA (Women's National Basketball Association) player, also set up a jumper by Perth teammate Amy Atwell, who finished with 22 points as well.

Kiara Waite missed a three-pointer down the stretch, but Han quickly grabbed the rebound and added two more points to her tally, closing out the contest with 22 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks.

Han is scheduled to play her first home game with the Lynx this coming Friday, when the Southside Flyers make the trip from Melbourne to Perth.
