Advanced smart-care devices are attracting significant attention at the 11th China International Silver Industry Exhibition in south China's Guangzhou, where exhibitors are showcasing a range of next-generation intelligent products designed for elderly care.
Robots stole the show, including a tracked smart wheelchair, an acupoint-locating moxibustion robot, and home-care robots that monitor vital signs and provide companionship. One highlight is an exoskeleton designed for older users with knee osteoarthritis. It can recognize eight scenarios, including walking on flat ground, climbing slopes and ascending or descending stairs, and automatically adjusts its level of support.
