A voice for the voiceless in fight for 'comfort women' in Hong Kong

During World War II, Japanese troops invaded and occupied Hong Kong from late 1941 to 1945. By the time of their surrender in 1945, more than 10,000 women and girls in the city had been raped and forced into sexual slavery, widely known as "comfort women" under Japanese army control. CGTN's Zheng Songwu met with Mei Li, a longtime volunteer advocate for victims' rights in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, to learn how she has sought justice for victims over the past 30 years.
