Laurent Fabius, former French prime minister and former president of the French Constitutional Council, underscored the importance of China-France cooperation ahead of French President Emmanuel Macron's state visit to China.
Fabius said that none of today's major global challenges can be solved by a single country and multilateralism is essential.
At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, Macron will pay a state visit to China from December 3 to 5, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson announced on Monday.
