Protesters gathered outside a court in Tel Aviv on Monday, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived for his corruption trial after requesting a presidential pardon. Netanyahu is the only sitting prime minister in Israel's history to stand trial, indicted in 2019 on charges of fraud, breach of trust and bribery in three cases involving wealthy associates.
