Cambodia will launch a pilot program granting visa-free entry to Chinese nationals from June 15 to October 15, 2026, according to an official government document released on Tuesday.
Under the four-month trial, Chinese travelers arriving directly from China will be allowed to enter Cambodia without applying for a visa and will be permitted to stay for up to 14 days, the document said.
They will not be required to pay any fees and will only need to complete an electronic arrival card. Multiple entries will be permitted during the trial period.
Data from Cambodia's Ministry of Tourism shows that the country received about one million visits by Chinese travelers between January and October this year.
