The hosts established control in the opening mixed doubles match. World No. 1 pair Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha beat Ivor Ban and Hana Arapovic 11-6, 11-5, 11-5. The Chinese team completed the match in 20 minutes, taking all three games with consistent pressure and coordination.

Conceding only 16 points across the three games, Wang and Sun provided China with a solid start that carried through the remainder of the tie. The team maintained control in subsequent matches to complete the 8-0 sweep and advance to the next phase of the tournament.
