The Hollywood Reporter article described it "irresistibly, for movie fans of all ages in the country, and noted that ahead of its global release, Disney had very high hopes for "Zootopia 2" in China.

This is especially resonant given that Disney has recently launched the world's first Zootopia-themed park at the Shanghai Disney Resort in China.

Further fueling Hollywood executives' renewed optimism about China's market is the upcoming release of more American films on the Chinese big screen this coming Friday, including Paramount's "The Running Man" and "Witness for the Prosecution."
