Hong Kong continues to receive disaster relief supplies coordinated by the central government, Chris Tang Ping-keung, secretary for security of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region government, told China Media Group (CMG) on Thursday.
Among these supplies are lighting drones, dual-light reconnaissance drones, exoskeletons and firefighting boots, which are effectively assisting the Hong Kong Fire Services Department's work in rescue operations, Tang said.
A new batch of supplies from the mainland, including firefighter goggles and waterproof gloves, arrived in Hong Kong on Wednesday and has been put into use.
