Shanghai Disney brings 'Zootopia' to life with new experience
Shanghai Disney Resort is turning up the excitement as its exclusive Zootopia-themed area launches the "Disney Zootopia Comes Alive" festival, celebrating the release of the film "Zootopia 2." The event showcases a series of fresh highlights – from Judy and Nick's new costume parade and adorable interactions with newcomer Gary De'Snake, to a high-energy performance featuring Shakira's new song "Zoo."
One of the biggest draws is Zootopia: Hot Pursuit, a thrilling coaster ride enhanced with dynamic lighting and mist effects that delivers an immersive chase through the city. Visitors can also enjoy a vibrant nighttime projection show that brings Zootopia's skyline to life.
Across the themed area, new surprises await Zootopia fans. Fans can take part in a detective-themed interactive experience, discover newly launched film merchandise, or spot whimsical Zootopia-themed snowmen and ice sculptures hidden throughout the park. The festival has already attracted large crowds and will continue through January 27, 2026.
