An F-16C fighter jet belonging to the U.S. Air Force's elite Thunderbirds demonstration squadron crashed during a training mission in the Mojave Desert near Trona, California, on Wednesday. The pilot ejected from the aircraft and was transported to a hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews responded to the scene, where the wreckage was seen burning in the remote desert area. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Air Force.
