China will provide $100 million in aid to Palestine to help ease the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, which is expected to reduce the suffering of the Palestinian people, said Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian during a press briefing in Beijing on Friday.

Lin made the statement in response to a media question about the aid package announced by Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday.
