At one stop of the 2025 China–U.S. Youth Marching Band People-to-People Exchange China Tour, a drum "battle" quickly turned into a full ensemble, with Chinese and American students joining in and playing together.

As one participant said, "All it takes is trusting each other and following the rhythm, and you can create something really cool."
