79 injured in Hong Kong's Tai Po fire now out of critical condition

John Lee, chief executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), said the HKSAR government is highly concerned about the mental well-being of affected residents following the Tai Po fire.

Lo Chung-mau, health secretary of the HKSAR government, said all 79 injured individuals were treated at various public hospitals. As of 6 p.m. on Friday, 49 had been discharged, while 30 remained hospitalized. None of the injured were listed in critical condition.
