Han Xu stars in home debut as Perth Lynx defeat Melbourne Boomers

Han Xu made a strong impression in her first home game for the Perth Lynx in the Women's National Basketball League, scoring 19 points in 25 minutes to help her team overcome the Melbourne Boomers 98-81.

Wearing the Lynx's red home uniform, Han took the floor against the visiting Boomers and was once again part of the starting five in her second game and first in front of the home crowd.

Han found her rhythm quickly in the first quarter, catching a high pass for a lay-up. She did it again shortly after, with the Lynx trailing 7-6.

The Chinese center showed her range by knocking down a catch-and-shoot three-pointer and finished the first half with 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting, adding two steals and one block. Her performance helped fuel the Lynx to a commanding 63-35 lead at halftime.

Han continued her strong play in the second half, hitting a three-pointer on the Lynx's first possession of the third quarter.

She was substituted out in the fourth quarter, receiving a warm welcome from her teammates and fans for her strong performance.

In 25 minutes of action, Han finished with 19 points on 6-of-13 shooting from the field, delivering a well-rounded performance in her home debut.
