Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Chief Executive John Lee has called on residents to vote in the Legislative Council (LegCo) election on December 7, saying public participation is essential to pushing forward reforms. He said the HKSAR government will propose a motion at the first meeting of the newly elected LegCo to support residents affected by the Tai Po fire and help them return to normal life.
